  • Steve Martin

I recently ran across this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtbWMDRxLLY
He must have been quite entertaining at DL in the 50's.
I love Steve, I first heard his comedy in the mid-seventies. He's had a some memorable roles, Parenthood, Cheaper by the dozen, Simple Twist of fate, and of course, as The Jerk.

        Re: Steve Martin

My first knowledge of Steve Martin was when a bunch of Imagineer and Studio friends and I went to Clairmont College to catch a performance he was doing there. He brought the house down.

I still remember when he expressed sympathy for all the folks seated way back and up in the far distanced nose-bleed balcony seats, and dedicated a special magic trick just for them: The Magic Dime Trick.
