I'm looking at shoes right now, and it just hit me I wonder whats the most people have paid for there shoes?



I will start the most I have EVER! paid was $150.00. And now when I think about it I regret it.

I paid $89 for a pair of $139) Aldo pumps on sale last year, I think my first pair of docs were over $100. I rarely pay a lot for shoes.

My brother paid $300.00 for a pair made by Bruno Magli (remember the OJ shoes?)

He didn't like them so he gave them to me -- no charge!

I'll say this. I made the financial blunder of introducing my wife to Aldo shoes. Now, I refuse to be near the register when she's rung up. Ignorance is bliss.

Same for purses. I don't wanna know.

I remember BEGGING my parents to pay $100 for those converse that are really high.. you know the ones that go up to your knee.. I got black and red ones and they had glow in the dark laces... I was in 9th grade and was going through a phase... but I think those were my most expensive shoes....

I'm a shoe whore....I will fret over a $25 shirt but not hesitate at dropping $200+ for a comfy/great looking pair of shoes....

Hmm - I've paid $150/pair for several different pairs of shoes and boots. I have hard to fit feet, so when I do find something I like that's actually comfortable, I have NO problem paying for them. They're worth it to me. I also take really good care of my shoes so they last for a long time. I bought a pair of Doc Martens boots in England for about $120 back in 1994. I still have and wear them.

Most for me was $150 or $160, I can't remember. Usually over $100 for each pair of shoes I buy......... Nike's, I love them!!

About $120. My son plunked down $200+ for a pair of MBT's. He is still happy two years later and swears by them.

He made me wear them once in DL when I had a broken toe, and... well it's a story...

I paid $140 for the boots I wear practically every day. Good snow shoes are hard to come by in Atlanta. The boots have a Gortex lining so they are very good for working at an ice rink.

I know girls that spend $500 on shoes they'll probably wear 2 times a year tops... crazy stuff.

I have a thing for cell phones. I have never stuck with a cell phone longer than 6 months!
