No she's signing off as the co-signer and my mom is becoming the Co-Signer.

If he has moldy socks I would hate to think what else might be growing in his room. If mold starts to grow on the walls that could be very bad for your health.
No I said he smelt like moldy socks.

^^It was a female. I kinda'... got my revenge. I heard it nightly her just going crazy and then the movie was on auto repeat.

My roommate, the one I loved, and I came up with a bunch of random stuff to freak her out. Like while she was passed out slip in some "ultra nasty" stuff like where the guy at the video store gives you a weird look with like critters and such and the fart jar. What we ended up doing was a pink marker and a very famous Kevin and Bean song. Kinda' mean but she still did it!

:lmao: you must have witnessed it first hand yikes you aucally saw him watching these movies nude ?

my son had a friend who was mega stinky, never bathed and grossed me out, one day when he came to the house I said " what the heck is that smell" my son says " its him he does not bath" the kid looks at me and says yeah, I do not like to bath much, its not good for the skin... I laughed my head off, told the kid well your skin will surly rot off you if you keep this up, and because you are offensive to my nose and my furniture, you will need to stand out side and wait for my son, I can not have you in here stinking up the joint. he was shocked and embaressed, but I do not care why do I need to smell that. I guess I was the only one who told him this so bluntly. He cleaned up his act and acually came over one day his hair still wet from the shower  and he says... I took a shower, can I come in ? sure I said, if you can shower, the least I can do is let you in :lmao: for chrstimas my son and I bought him soap on a roap, deoderant, and cologne.

If you have the means at all possible to move, just IMHO I would make arrangements and move. I can't imagine that this guy will change his personal hygiene habits for you. Slobs are slobs. That's just how they are. And I think you'll just wind up having more arguments and stress in the future -- starting as soon as the next time you smell his stench from the other room. Cut your losses, get on with your life, and focus on your culinary training. Good luck!

I don't get how people could just go out into the world without being clean. It takes 5 minutes to take a quick shower.

    Re: Roommate help

I forgot to mention earlier that in college, we had a super smelly roommate, Mark, for about six months. We had a 4 bedroom townhouse with one shower. :yuck: He never ever wore deodorant, he was on the track team and worked out/jogged constantly. He was the foulest person I've ever met. I hated him because of how he smelled.

We used to take turns covering our heads with towels to run into his room, turn off the heat and open the window without taking a breath when he wasn't home.

Then he'd come home, hole up in there for hours with the heat cranked up and smell up the entire second floor of the place. It was awful. If he ever joined us in the living room, it never took long for us to leave.

Finally, my two roommates and I found a smaller place and didn't invite him to join us. And what's weird is that years later.....smelly Mark married one of my friends. And I have to see him a few times a year. He smells better, but I still find myself hating him for no reason.

Anyway, my point is that we never had the guts to talk to him about it. I admire the fact that you've at least had the discussion.

Okay so it seems like things are better, he washed his hands today without me telling him to. Though it may have been the sign I made that reminded him.

I would but I don't wanna pay my pet deposit again, and all the other deposits. Also I would stress to much about find a new place and roommate, I would also stress about getting the money. I stress too easily and too much.

Okay I talked to him, alright it was closer to yelling, but that's a small detail.
I simply told him that he reeks and if he doesn't start to bathe I will have to move out. He didn't seem to care. His response? Where are you moving to? That shows me that sense he is expecting me to move, he is not going to bathe. 15 minutes later I told him that he is not going to be able to find a roommate because if I move out because of how offensive he smells, no one will want to live with him. 5 minutes later he took a shower but lets see how long this lasts.
