Thank you for your support folks, it's going to be a really fantastic year in the MiceChat world.
I got an artificial one when our daughter moved out. Right after Christmas this year she will be moving to Nor Cal, and not sure when we'll be able to have Christmas together again so I might spring for a real one this year.... maybe.... Otherwise I'd have it up Friday!
We bought the 4.5 foot Kmart Martha Stewart tree with the lights in it. It was on sale last week. We don't need the "real pine smell" because you step outside and you're in a forest. We thought that Pearl might associate the real tree with her pee tree.... Christmas gifts under the tree... bad. Setting it up Friday.
Does the Martha Stewart tree come with a knit poncho? Careful...it might start cursing at you, too. )
I'm thinking of getting the tree on Sunday. Since we usually get a giant sequoia, it's better to go early when the selection is better. I am going to have to take All4disney out, though...can't have tree competition!
Already have Christmas Trees. We usually put up six (6), this year it's going to be seven (7) (we like Christmas and Christmas Trees).
Where do we put the trees:
Livingroom - main tree, decorated Mid-Century Modern
Diningroom - similar to Livingroom tree
Familyroom - Old world - travel rememberances.
Bedroom - oldworld, exotic
Sunroom - two trees, just lights
Office - new this year, aluminum knock-off (mylar) decorate Mid-Century Modern
