What should we name the dog

So my mom is going to get a dog.
A collie. She wants a girl, and she wants to have it look like the tv Lassie. But she is already bugging about what to name it (not getting the dog till aftrer Christmas.
She likes the name Trixie, but she thinks Trixie is a good name for a sheltie, all little and cute, and she wants a name that would be good for a calm, beautiful dog.
Any ideas? I named our last dog Beau...

My uncle has a collie. He usually has 2 at a time. Laddie and Lassie, no matter what. I think they're on Laddie #5 or something. Here's a tip: don't name it that.... Just because... yeah.

Gracie is my moms rotweiler she is the sweetest dog ever! I think a name fits a dog, this one does.

My Mom has a Westie and she named her Trixie Belle and they call her Trixie Bell-arina. Too cute!

Is this your mom's first dog? I always liked the idea of doing it alphabetical (like hurricanes). First dog has an A name. 2nd dog has a B name. so on so forth. It helps narrow the name options down a bit.
