LOL on his leg. I was trying to get him to hold still for a minute so I could take the pic, but his back leg never went all the way down. He can't sit still for more than 5 minutes unless he's asleep. I swear that cat has ADHD!
Aw! I love the name. Now don't you have cute little stories? He looks like he is wearing a tux.
I had the same "aw my girl is getting old" vibe today... I was walking Pearl and was like "wow she's getting to be a real dog." I have pictures of her when she's born and every step of the way...
7 weeks is my favorite: http://www.kodakgallery.com/Slidesho...y=-jfci0k&Ux=0
She's the pup in the red. Now she's 50 + lbs. Some Micechatters have seen her...
I'm impressed! I wish I had the constitution to do that, but I would either be so depressed or I would have a house full of cats and kittens!!
Luckilly for me my rental does not allow pets, so I can't bring my work home with me. It's a no kill shelter so I do not have to put any down. There are a lot of happy stories, like when a cat that had been there for nearly 4 years finally got adopted a few months ago.
I'm kinda sad he's lost his kitten face for the most part, but there's times I still see a hint of it when I play with him. Especially when I bring out the feather teaser toy. He gets all wide-eyed.
But I honestly can't wait until he burns up most of that kitten energy and settles down a bit. He still gets the night crazies pretty bad and I still have to sleep with my bedroom door shut most nights as he doesn't settle in to sleep until at least 2am. And even then he can't lay down for more that 5 minutes. He'll get up, turn around and lay back down. Then he'll get up, go around to the other side of me... then he'll go down to the foot of the bed... then he'll come back up by the pillows. Oi! At least JT knows lights out is "sleepy time" but he's always been pretty good about that even when he was an 8 week old kitten.
