  • It's better to give than to receive

Ok, your secrets is safe with me. Is there a special gift you can't wait to see someone open this Christmas? I just love watching my kids open "all" their gifts. But there is always that certain special , right? Yeah, you know what I mean.

I'll tell you first, mums the word now.

For my son, I think, the real gnarly one (they still use that word?) will be the skateboard, mom thinks it will be the Guitar Hero III. For my daughter, who just wants cash? (typical teenager huh?) she already got the big one, and she figured it out really quick, (I should waited a few more days to install it) unlimited text messaging on her phone (cloud nine for a teenage girl).

    So what are your biggy's?

The picture frames for my sister. Everyone says I give bad gifts. But everyone who knows what I got her is like "she will love that."

I can't wait for my husband to open the picture I took of our dogs. If I let on that I'm excited for him to open it, he'll wait ALL DAY before he opens it just to torture me. Dork.

For our son it's probably going to be GHIII.

For our daughter, the tickets to the Hannah Montana concert/movie (which also includes alone time with Mom).

For Belle ... well, we'll just have to wait and see for that one won't we.

I exchanged presents with my friends last night. One of my friends was given a $10 Cheesecake Factory card (among other things). The first thing he said was "Oh I guess we're just gonna have to go again then!" (we've gone at least 4 times since the one on Katella opened). I just looked at him in a scared way, and told him to read the card:

"Darn, we'll just have to go again..."
