  • Which story is Belle reading?

In the movie Beauty and the Beast, when Belle is sitting in the town reading her new book - she sings
"now, isn't this amazing, it's my favorite part because, you see, here's where she meets Prince Charming but she won't discover that it's him 'til chapter 3..."

So which book is she reading? It HAS to be a Disney story, but which one? The obvious one for me is Sleeping Beauty. Or Cinderella. Both met the Prince before realizing he was a prince.

    What do you think?

I like the idea of it being a totally different story than a Disney one... there are so many fairy tales out there However, I think it's meant to perhaps be a blend...
Here's a couple clues for you...

under the picture, he is called Le Prince Charmant - The Charming Prince OR "Prince Charming"
Prince Charming is the Prince in Cinderella (should totally name my kid 'Charming' tehee.
Second clue - castle in picture very much resembles Snow White's castle in the opening sequence

      "Oh! Isn't this amazing!
It's my favorite part because, you'll see!
Here's where she meets Prince Charming
But she won't discover that it's him 'til chapter three!

Keep in mind... neither of the traditional stories are long enough for chapters. Neither of the stories have her meeting the prince before the end.

Moral ofthe story- the internet is your friend.

I always assumed it was Aurora meeting Prince Phillip in the forest.

        A little piece of heaven
