  • Rain Rain Go Away??

I love rain. I love it love it love it. I love the cozy feeling it creates in the home...the sound of a crackling fire in the fireplace to keep the indoors warm....just a wonderful time indeed (for a few days, though).

But is there ever a time when you get 'sick' of the rain........and wish for our Sunny California to return from beyond? I know I do. When I'm not doing something 'work oriented' or 'working' I am wearing shorts and flip flops....and wearing that in this weather is not so fun......the wetness and chilly temps working together in that regard.

Not only all that I state, but many things we like to do for fun are outdoors...and being deluged with rain sort of washes the fun right out of it for me.

So, are you getting tired of the rain and chilly temps????

I'm absolutely sick of it - and your rain is supposed to hit us with snow on Sunday and Monday.

After last years dry spell, CA needs a lot of rain. I don't mind it all. I love it.

Now, if it was raining from now everyday until March, then I may get tired of it.

I'm not sick of it either. We get a lot less rain nwo than we did when I was younger. I remember days and days and days of rain. Now, it doesn't seem to rain as hard or as long. I miss the good old days...

I don't mind rain too much, that's why I continue to live in the seattle area. But even us Norwesterner's get tired of the steady flowing from the skies.

We haven't had enough rain for me to be sick of it yet. The rain we've had so far is nothing compared to other years. If it keeps up the way it has been I could see myself getting tired. Otherwise we still need more.

I welcome it! On the roads, it sucks but people just need to be smart about it.

we moved to Tasmania thinking that we would get snow in the winter, however they seed the clouds down there, and as soon as it hits land, it DUMPS down. I love the rain, thought I could never get enough rain and cold. I hate summer, hate the heat, don't care for the sun..........or so I thought!!
We had 84 DAYS of continuos RAIN, not just showers, not just a little each day.... it started raining in may and didn't LET up until september!!! I thought I was going to go MAD!!
Needless to say, I don't live in Tasmania any more! LOL LOL LOL

I am split on it. It's not the rain this year, it's snow. I can't drive in snow. So I've been stuck here in a cabin. Going to get cabin fever. And because I am a klutz, ice and klutziness not good! We need the water/rain/snow.

I love the cooler weather and light rain. It has been pouring heavy in my area since Wednesday. I love to turn over in bed and go back to sleep to the sounds of falling rain. I can do that now! But, when it rains this much and the streets flood over the curbs, it's been three days of that and I am running out of food and milk and stuff. The sun finally came out for a little while about an hour ago and I was able to make a quick trip to the market to get the essentials. But now it's clouding up again. I love the sound of the rain and how nice and clean everything looks afterward. And it clears the air as well.
