  • Naming a new laundry detergent

    Hi everyone!

I'm in an advertising class and our first project is to design a new liquid laundry detergent. These are the criteria:

    - market to women ages 35 to 49
    - low in phosphates and ingredients harmful to environment
    - no artificial scents
    - highly concentrated

What I've been struggling with is a brand name. It needs to be simple enough to convey the brand, while still being creative.

Feel free to throw out any words you associate with laundry, liquid detergents, water, washing, etc. etc. etc.

Thanks to everyone for helping me brainstorm!

I'd buy that. But I think this is to be marketed to women ages 35 to 49, not geeks.

          Name it "Gato."

Because in spanish, Gato means cat. Cats always clean themselves. Our clothes could be as clean as a cat.

I'd buy some Gato Laundry Detergent:lol:.

But seriously, name it "Vibrant" or something .

            Rivulet Wash

A rivulet is a body of water (like a stream) - where humans wash their clothes when no other method is available. Very natural and friendly to the environment.
"But every night, when it gets dark
            and the stars come out,
I'll look up on her behalf.
I'll look up in the sky and think of you."

Well you see Soylent Clean is better, as it lowers the number of what hurts the environmet the most.
