  • Freelance/work at home opportunities?

Hello all. With such a large group of kind and often knowledgable folks as we have here on the MC boards, I thought I'd ask and see what folks say. I'm a Graphic Designer, employed full-time, and was looking for some way to make some extra cash. I looked at several "work at home" type deals on line, but they all look scammish and suspiciously similar. I'd love to do some freelance Graphics work, but it's hard to find freelance positions where the company doesn't expect you to work in their office.

Sooooo.. my question is, has anyone out there had any experience with any type of work at home program that actually works? I'm not looking for a stupid get rich quick scheme, just something steady to make some extra green. Any ideas/leads?

I hope this isn't an inappropriate post. If so, I cry your pardon...

there are some graphic design websites out there that allow you to post a profile of yourself and then people who are looking for a designer can look through them. One of them is www.sologig.com but a search on the internet would bring up other similar sites.

I have two work from home jobs- one is medical billing, but I do it for a small company that I worked for in house before I moved. I also work for buena vista pictures distribution on the weekend and that is a great job for pockey money- you can make up to 600 bucks a month plus all the free movies you want. There application is on www.ebvnetwork.com and based on where you live.

Godd Luck! (I am looking to get started with secret shopping, if anyone knows a good website for that)
