  • question from a Disneyland Resort fan

    hey cast members!!

(unfortunately I am not one. DARN!!!! ) I have a question for you:

I would post this in the Disneyland Resort forum, but out of fear of virtual tomatoes and virtual bricks thrown at me I have decided to post this thread in a safer lounge venue:

I heard that the blue bayou has a new menu. I am wondering if you have a picture of said menu. if not could you post a listing of whats on it?

now for my explanation: I have heard that there have been complaints about food quality, not just at the blue bayou, but other food venues throughout the resort.

just for the record, this has never happened to me. I have always received excellent service at all of the food locations (including the full service locations like the blue bayou, plaza inn, etc) and the food was also excellent.

    thanks for your time.

oh, and a salute to all of you cast members::::

    :yea:

    Love you all

You're in the wrong forum. No one will be upset for either asking for a menu or commenting on poor food quality.

The problem with the food isn't that it's bad. Actually, the people who come up with the recipies take a lot of pride in them.

The problem is the food is mediocre for the price that you pay, which then makes the food taste worse than it actually does.

Flame-broiled hamburgers at Village Haus used to be the best in the park. Everyone else just fried them, just like McDonalds. Boring.

What they should do is charcoal BBQ their burgers. That would be different, be a great flavour, and that would make it worth the price. Food Channel did this short profile on a resturaunt that switch over to charcoal. They had these huge BBQs. It can be done, just no one does it because it isn't something that's done.

      hey lighthope, thank you.
I feel relieved knowing that I am safe.

is it possible if you could post a listing of the new menu?

If not, would city hall have this info?

      either way thank you.

come to cafe orleans-- value is better for the money and i think the food quality is higher too!

or for the same price as the blue bayou, head over the ariel's grotto-- you'll get a three course meal for the price of an entree at blue bayou and you can even have a glass of wine with your dinner! plus you get to meet all the princesses.
