Visiting Walt Disney Studios

If I recall correctly, Disney cm's could visit the Walt Disney Studios. You just had to show your Disneyland ID to security, you could also bring a guest or 2 with you. Does anyone know the details on this? Restrictions or when you can or cant go.

That's not what the OP was asking FutureImagineer. Sigh.

I believe you cannot take Guests with you to Disney Studios... it's Cast Members only with a valid ID.

Well my aunt works for the studio and a few months ago we wanted to have lunch, but she couldn't..she said she could put hubbys name down and he could get us in as long as he has his ID... We ended up not going, but the option is there....not sure how many guests though....

Can any CM come to the studio or does a studio employee have to "put their name down" before the CM can visit?

We used to, they changed it recently where we cant. I think it is invite only now. My friend said we can said get into the store at WDI.

you can only bring 1 guest with you, go to the TEAM CENTER or company D and tell them you're going to the studio and ur bringing a guest.... they'll give you a visitors pass and you can bring your guest. make sure they have an ID and you have your CM ID, all you gain access to is the studio store (a really nice team center with "walt disney company" merch and not just disneyland merch & the commissary (a really nice Inn Between with a panda express & soft serve yogurt) .....nothing special

Dang, did not realize it was so hard for employees of the company to visit the studio. Makes me appreciate our visit to the studio even more.
