New Cast member here, i'm feeling pretty nervous

I'm really nervous right now and heading to my first day of work. After went to training, as a bussers/steward, the work turn out harder than i thought. So many things to remember. I think my trainers train me well, but the most important problem, I'm worried is getting along with people and leads. How should I approach to them because I'm not really good with people? Also, any advice for a new cast member. thanks

Focus on doing your job well and all the rest will fall into place. Focus on the work, and try to be helpful with a smile and poof.. magic happens

Don't worry, everyone is very friendly and nice! They'll all be willing to help you! I remember my first few days, I was asking questions CONSTANTLY and annoying the hell out of my coworkers, but it's worth it to ask questions, and there are only a few bad apples that will answer you with attitude or annoyance, but the rest will be super nice and want to get to know you! Just be open. I'm a very shy person, but I've learned to open up. Trust me, it makes your job just that much more fun! Welcome to the family and I hope you enjoy it!

Just smile, remember your "hellos", "How are yous" and whatnot to your co-workers and leads. When asked to do something, smile and say "sure" and do it.

You'll do fine.

I don't think its that big of a deal. All that takes you to is a log in page and you can't get any farther then that.

I don;t this it's a major thing to post the website. But I'm no longer a CM and am not under the Mouse's thumb.

I just wanted to offer this. If you think somebody should delete some information out of their post, it might not be best to quote that information in your own post. Now once Krillisih edits his post, Burt, you will need to edit your post as well.

It's just putting it out their twice and now two posts need to be edited to get rid of it.

Like I said, it's no biggie to me about the Hub site. But the principle is the same. If you don;t want something posted, don't quote it and post it yourself.

I haven't heard that it's bad to link to it. I'll take my post down if I find out it's not supposed to be known, or if anyone points to where it specifically says that. Otherwise, it's just a login page and I see no harm in it.

Also couple questions,

I'm CT right now, but I wanted to be a CR, how long should I wait to become a CR?

Last one, if I become CR, does my seniority start over and redo the probation?

Ask IMMEDIATELY to be CR. The sooner you fill out the forms the more likely you'll get it. And yes, unfortunately when you become CR your seniority resets and you have to go through probation again. I know it's lame! They should fix that! And that link should work, I used it and it worked fine. Sometimes it doesn't wanna work in a home computer. Also even if you do get access from a home computer, there are still a lot that you can't do. You can't change your payroll stuff, look at W4, Development Connection, etc. So take advantage of the computers in your break rooms!

Ladies and gentlemen... the url to the website has been removed. Even though you have to have a valid account and password to get it, that website is for CM eyes only, and Disney does watch these boards and people have lost jobs because of things done online. So for the privacy and safety of our members the link was removed.

Once you become a cast member you be given access to many things, but please do not post them here.
