Training for Photopass?

Hi, I put Photo Imaging on my application as one of my "top 3" preferences and was wondering if Photopass Photographers are trained at all when hired, or are they required to know everything about photography on their own?

Any info would be greatly appreciated, and all tips and suggestions are more than welcome!

I have a friend who is a photopass photographer...she has been one for a few years and she is now a lead...she wasn't a professional photographer when hired..but she loved to take pictures. She was always snapping great pics at get togethers.
