  • DLR CM's: Is calling sick-extended only for consecutive shifts?

Let's say I call sick-extended on Monday and Tuesday, but my next shift isn't until Friday. Can I extend that same call-sick to the Friday? Or is it automatically 3 more points?

I think you might need a doctors note because it's over the 5 day limit (even though it's your day off). You can call in continued, though because it's not continued from the previous day, it's almost like starting over again. Call your scheduler for more information.

Since I only work weekends, that's happened to me before. If I was sick on Sunday and still by the following weekend, I was able to continue it. I wasn't asked for a Drs note, but maybe that's just my management or whomever needs it.

It's three consecutive shifts. They only need to be the next two shifts after your initial call-out, but they don't need to be two days in a row.
