  • Disney California College Program Questions

Someone a year back told me about the college program. I've been totally interested but have no information. Would anyone help me with this? Maybe a price range and when to apply? And how does it work? And I don't graduate till December but I want to start immediately. And I'm 17. Please and Thanks!!!

The strange thing is, you work for about 3 months and then they kick you out! Sort of a waste. It might be better to just go to school nearby and get a part time job there.

If you plan to stay with Disney at all, skip the college program and just work there while you are in college.

They don't just kick you out, they give you the option to stay. If you do, then you have to start from scratch with no seniority. I would suggest what others have said. Just get it as a part time job. A lot of the people in the College program usually complain that they get too many hours(they get 3 years seniority) and usually are flooded with work/school/classes. The perks are nice(you get tours of certain attractions, get to meet management and get their contact info, etc) but it's up to you weather it's worth it.
