  • Disneyland CM Benefits?

Ive seen this posted elsewhere but its NOW 2011 and most of those posts are from the early 2000's

So I'm wondering what benefits do PT's and FT's get as cast members?

Sorry but if you dont really know, or know a friend of a friend, or you start your post off as"when i used to work.....". Im looking for current cast members and not even sure we have many on this site or not.

    Thanks

EXACTLY! Let's see... the benefits that count to me:
I get to make little girls and boys smile and have the best day ever.
My favorite is making teenage boys who think they're too cool to watch a parade blush because I pick on them.

But for a real benefit, my favorite is the discount. My family and I buy Disneyland items WAY too much, so it's a bit helpful. Disneyland can get expensive when you want something from every store.

I'm not a castmember, but I interviewed last week and the only thing I heard was that you are allowed to sign in up to 3 people a day into the park a day. So 3 of your friends can get into the park for free.

This is the only "perk" I have heard about. I would like to know additional info as well!

No benefits unless your full time. And they're actually pretty good, sick pay, vacation pay, holiday pay(if your not working that day), medical, dental, pretty good stuff. For Part time, nothing except park admission and discounts.

and don't forget a certain amount of sign in's per year, as well as some great discounts on merch during the holidays. Heck I was able to buy one of those volunteer mickey hats (they had quite a few left over) for a pretty good deal.

Also, if you're full-time hourly, you qualify for the 401k. If you're full-time salary, you wualify for the 401k and pension.

Given that Disney stock is incredibly solid, this is probably the pest perk there is. I own about a dozen shares, which I auromatically have taken out of my paycheck.
