If your shoes get ruined and you need a new pair, do you have to pay for the damaged pair?

Are you referring to shoes getting water damage on a water ride? If so, all rides at the resort are "ride at your own risk". Because it is not beyond reasonable expectations for shoes to get wet under normal operating procedures on that type of ride, the onus falls on the rider to make sure to protect anything that may get damaged under those conditions or better yet not take them on the ride.

Unless you did something really stupid to ruin them, most likely not. I had a couple of pairs get ruined when I worked there and costuming never gave me any grief because they were ruined in the normal course of my duties.

I am currently fostering two puppies until they go to their new home, and one of them ripped part of the shoe up...oops. I guess it's okay if I have to pay, I did leave the shoes on the floor with puppies in the house >.<
