Hey there all you CMs out there. When me and my friends go to Disneyland, we like to ask the random CMs for their autographs. We bought one of those books that most people use to get the characters' autographs and we ask the people working the food stands, the people escorting the characters, and the ride opperators for their autographs. Does this happen often to any of you, and if not, have any of you been asked by us to give us your autograph or let us take your picture?

What an awesome idea! Those are the types of CMs most people interact with on a trip to DL. That would be a great Geek Quest. We are going to take the kids for a trip to the park one of these days just to gather autographs.Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.
May the Gumballs Be with You...Always.

When I was in Glow Merchandise at WDW, I remember one or two guests came up to my cart to get my autograph. I thought it was a really cute idea, and they looked like they were having a blast collecting the autographs."I don't need intelligent drugs because I don't know what they are. But I will put anything into my mouth that is given to me, whether it's supposed to go there or not. Because... I'm different."

I was crossing Main Street once where a large family was taking a group photo. The person taking the photo ran up to me and asked me to take their picture...at least that's what I thought they said. They actually wanted me to be in their picture. So somewhere out there, there is a photo of me and a group of complete strangers.
The autograph thing is a fun diversion at times to. I had someone ask me once for my autograph on one of those ultra-slow days and I them wrote a two page paragraph of randomness with my autograph. Good times...The views and opinions expressed on this post are mine and do not necessarily represent or reflect those of The Walt Disney Company and Affiliated Companies.

We're not CM's, just guests, but I'd like to say that the only CM that we asked for a picture and autograph of was George from the RR. For years we always admired the way that he put on his show. He looked older than dirt (no offense to him) and we had always just assumed that he must be a 40+ year employee. One day we got the nerve to ask and we found out that he wasn't there nearly that long.
The kids would always ask to go for a train ride and they would hope that he was on shift. After a couple of trips without seeing him, we asked another RR CM where he was. Sadly, he told us that George had passed away.
We have that picture of him and the kids in a nice frame along with our other family photo's. Disneyland was a better place with George in it.
