I don't know if this is crazy or stupid (and a bit scary) but I used to work at WDW on the 20K attraction. On the last day of one's employment, it was sometimes typical for the other crew members to throw the exiting cast member into the lagoon. Let's just say I stayed in the water a little bit longer than normal and took a good look around.

Ok fine...one of many true stories.
I told this story in the confessions thread but one of my favorite's. I had to work the night before my school had it's grad night at Disneyland. I knew that they searched everyone who came into Grad Night so the night that I had to work, I brought in a bunch of those mini bottles of rum and stashed them in my locker.
The night of my Grad Night, they search us and find nothing and I go in. My friend's were bummed because they wanted to try and sneak in some alcohol to no prevail. I didn't say anything but when we were near Space Mountain (Where my locker was located) I told them to hang out because I forgot something in my locker. I snuck backstage to my locker and retreived my stash. I walked back out onstage and flashed my friends my hidden stash and a huge smile broke out on their faces. We were drinking Rum and Coke's all night long.

True Story
My dad was head of the Disneyland Art Dept in the early Sixties and he told me this story that really happened. Back in the Old days of Autopia, the cars didn't have a guide rail and you could lift them off the track and put them on the walkways. THere was also an adjustment you could make on the cars themselves that could make them go faster.
It seems that my father along with a few other employees would go take the cars off the track and race them throughout the park early in the morning long before the park opened. Their raceway would take them out the straightaway of Tomorrowland, then right through the drawbridge of the castle, around the Carousel then back through the drawbridge then straight down main street around the turn around at the front of Main Street then back up Main Street, right into Tomorrowland and back to Autopia.
The problem with this was that this was early in the morning when the streets were still wet and my father said they had to fish a couple out of the moat and refiberglass a body for wrecking into the wall around the carousel.
One morning they were having there morning race and they didn't realized that Walt was staying in his apartment above the Fire Station. They come racing down Main Street and my Dad said as he was hitting the turn around to head back up Main Street, he happened to glance up and saw Walt with a very suprised look on his face, looking at them out his window.
They were trying to get the cars back onto the track in a hurry and get out of there quickly but Walt comes storming down Tomorrowland with a few lavish words. Basically he was fuming but everyone kept their jobs with a very stern warning that if it ever happened again.......
Anyway, the coolest thing about it all, my dad said, was when Walt was walking away. Everyone actually heard him snickering and laughing.

Craziest thing I did while working was exploring behind Stadium vending next to the horses and stuff. I actually got lost and ended up pushing my drink cart all over the place.
I also went to the wheel house and did some exploring in the wee hours of the night. That's it for now. I was pretty chicken at the time but I think I would be a little more brave if I had the chance.

I think the best crazy CM story I've heard out of all of them was the Matterhorn climber who was safely wired to the mountain, so at the top he proceeded to flail his arms in the air as though he lost his balance, and then dropped backwards, where he was still safely dangling from the side.
I like this because, if you're going to do something silly, you might as well do it at the highest point in the park when everyone in several different lands can a see you!
I'm not sure how close to SOP this one is, but in the early 90s while eating at that Tomorrowland Character Breakfast, Robin Hood and a Villain character had an arguement of gestures over the fate of a little girl, with the villain gesturing that he wanted to heave her into the lagoon, and Robin Hood shaking his head no and making hero poses. Interaction between masked characters is easily one of the weirdest forms of communication I've ever seen

my friend and i had the whole boat to ourselves on pirates and during the scene where it says to stow yer weapons here and until the fight scene my friend and i were standing up and dancing in our boat. apparently there are no cameras there and so we just decided to have some fun. we thought about hopping from row to row but we thought that we would fall and so we might do that next time. they should put some cameras there for obvious reasons."Something Wicked This Way Comes....."

Ya know I was gonna contribute but I after reading what's already here, I would imagine there's a set of standards in place to keep decorum intact. Wildest thing I've read so far was the 'dancing in the pirate boat' story.
I'll, um, keep this tale to myself I guess."The old man's gonna knock on the sky. Listen to the sound."
AP'er since 2004. Yup.....I'm one of THEM.
