  • Disneyland Jail location??

Is the Disneyland Jail the building next to Space Mountain on the way to Inn Between?? Walked past that building/portable building many times and never asked.

The building that is across from Security, Wardrobe, and near Space Moutain was know as the Center when I worked there.

I would think the "jail" would be behind Main street.. or would be behind toon town now... that way the "kids" can be picked up easily.....

There is a "jail" located at the unload area of the Haunted Mansion. Look to your left right before you go up the speedramp.

                  There is no "jail."

Security itself is located in the old Admin building. That portable mentioned in the first post is (at least, it was) The Disneyland Center. It was taken over by offices in the mid-90s.

Security is in the long admin building, ground floor, nearest the Fire Station (aka, nearest the Main Street Train station). They do have a couple of rooms they use like a holding cell there, but it's just a room. Think detective movies interrogating rooms. Minus that one-way mirror. Honestly, it's just a plain room or three.

Had a friend sit in that room once. Very plain, very boring.
Someone was putting bumper stickers all over a Space Mountain car during the ride. Everyone got marched down Main St and talked to in that room. She was innocent, but the Security CMs didn't know who was involved with the incident...
She was embarassed, but got to see a little seen area of the park.

Our Best man in my wedding and a college roomate was asked to identify three guys for engraved Graffiti in the early 90's through one way glass. He recieved for his contribution free front line passes for 4 different rides.

Don't ask me which, because then I'll have to call him!

I think the portable that was referenced in the OP is the Emergency Operations Center, but am not sure if I have the right portable or not.

Kevin is dead on about the old Admin building.

Learned a lot from my short stint working Security there!

Serving time in a Disneyland jail may have just become my one goal in lofe.

                            Heh.

Also, Demog, LOVE that avatar. I just dig, dig, diggity dig the California state flag. I always have. When I was living in NYC, I saw someone in the subway with a tattoo of the flag and was immediately homesick.
