  • CMs who work on rides.. do you ever do this?

I work at Bugs Land, been there almost 5 months, and I still find myself watching the movie A Bugs Life once or twice a week. Do any of you work on a movie ride and watch the movie? Talking to friends at Star Tours, they watch Star Wars alot but friends at Mansion hate their ride's movie.

I for one have never seen Tower of Terror, although I've been meaning to. Maybe after I restart my Netflix or Blockbuster subscription...

Not a film I'd actually work to see. It's rather corny.

Nothing about the Twilight Zone includes the Tower of Terror.

When I worked on BLAB I used to watch Toy Story 2 all the time. My cousin always wanted to see it so I would watch it with her. It was a great way to pick up random phrases for the attraction.

Not really. It is usually kids asking me about Buzz. Buzz was such a kcikback attraction. The most stressed I have ever been on an attraction is Space right after I was signed off but I think that happens to everyone.

I work King Triton's Carousel. I have for two years. Haven't watched Little Mermaid once since then.

Given that I have no idea what the movie is like, when I'm in Tower and Guests buy it, I give a semi-themed comment like "Oh! A vacation planning video, so you'll learn all about this hotel and its amenities, and book a vacation here later?" Nevermind that DVDs, or even videos for that matter, weren't invented yet in 1939.

Let's just say Season one of the Muppets was fun to watch and helped me learn silly trivia about the Muppets. :cwink:

                              :lmao: Totally loved that btw...

I'm on Storybook... so me watching a movie of my ride usually consists of watching quite a few... I like watching movies about attractions I work in, because it gives me a sense of understanding what I'm spieling to guests. It also helps me get into my 'show' aspect a bit more.. Watching Roger Rabbit, and having Rescue Rangers on DVD doesn't hurt much either since I work in TT as well
