  • what happens to no shows???

At my job, we encounter alot of people who come to work, and then, a few weeks into it, become no shows....you know, they don't call and just don't show up for work. What happens if you do this in the Disney nation? What would be the consequences?? More specifically, if you were a face character....say, Cinderella and needed for Cinderellabration....and you just didn't show.....what would happen? Wuld the Disney Mafia come after you with brand new, shiny, cement shoes?? Okay, I'm kidding, a little...but, what would happen? Has anyone encountered this?? Thanks.

Well, if your shift has started and you haven't shown and you haven't called, Scheduling will usually call you to find out if you're planning on coming in. A no-show is the same number of points as a call-in, but looks a lot worse on your record.

Three no-shows in a one year period qualifies for termination regardless of points.
