I read they changed the Deck, IB and all the rest of em'... How's the chow???!!! Don't even want to hear about the service- it's a cafeteria no matter how you dish it- you should be going there to eat...and that's it heh

My friends say the IB is really good! They now serve fresh and warm dinner rolls with things (before they were hard and cold) and the prices really aren't that much different. Service is much better in some ways too!

        Re: Cast Dining

Food is a little more expensive, but noticeably better and service actually exists now. However, Sodexho has effectively cut off IB from the rest of Plaza Complex which completely sucks. It's a liability issue, but still, they couldn't have worked something out? Plaza Complex cast members have to get our drinks onstage now, which sucks and PI CMs have to walk all the way around test kitchen to get to IB, which sucks.

However, if you don't work in PC, the change is for the better.

Does Inn Between still have the wacky paper trays and tiny plastic plates they were using at first? I'm happy with everything, except for that whole issue, and I haven't been over there in at least a week.

My favorite change is the cake/pie slices for $1.30 or whatever it is, it's fantastic value and very good.

Meh, more expensive for food that is only slightly better.

And i had one of the Cafe CMs tell me off because i got a large drink, aparently, we are only supposed to get mediums for free, umm, what does it matter?

Sodexho? They're a pretty big company these days. I know they handle many hospitals around these parts. Kind of a bummer what's become of that era. It went from individual shops run by local Management, then broke into its own 'Commissary' division, and now it's out'sd. The Deck/Diner, and Bungalow were all time favorites in the older times for me. I hope the experience is a much better one than before.

DLDCALVR is right. The food is at least fresh, but I do like it better than Starz. At DCA, I was told that I could only get the small size drink, but at DL, I get the LARGE!

I dunno... it's good and all, but it is about twice as expensive on the most part. I don't eat there as much anymore.

Half the time, i am not working a location where i can go to the DCA Cafe, so i end up not eating, or buying from the vending machines. We need another cafe, but there is no where to put it!

When I did my X-training at DCA, they specified that I had to clock out at a clock near my location, THEN go to the Cafe. Eww!

yeah, that sucks, you have to clock out at your location, not walk to the cafe, clock out there, order, pay, eat, and then clock out. It doesn't work that way, unless you are working Special Events It doesn't give you enough time to clock out and walk and eat and come back to clock out.

Dunno, seems like they might be able to squeeze something in the area behind Golden Dreams in the cast area back there and to the west.
