  • Are there autistic employees at Disney World?

It sounds like a weird question but I am curious if anyone knows Disney's stance on hiring people who suffer from non-physical impairments such as autism and such. What kind of places do they work at in the parks?

The official policy is that Disney is an "EOE* - Drawing Creativity from Diversity", so I assume that they have the same chance of getting hired as anyone else. As to where they would work in the parks, I would imagine it would be somewhere where they wouldn't be able to hurt themselves or others, so maybe something backstage like costuming or the like?

Yes there are. From what I've seen, Costuming, Stores, Custodial, 3rd Shift Custodial, Entertainment
