So I just transferred to Animation Academy/Innoventions, and on my schedule, the first thing that came up says "Fantasmic! HH." What the heck does that mean? I haven't been trained for anything yet, and is that even part of the department? Plus, I looked on the physical printed schedule, and there's nothing listed there for those two days, it was only on the online one. Odd. Does anyone know who the scheduler is in this department? No one's told me anything, and I'm quite confused as to where to go or what to do.

Just a guess...
You might want to dial NO/CC scheduling, ext 4978, with any questions.Last edited by Dan - Tasmic!; 11-06-2007, 12:56 PM.

Re: What is Fantasmic! HH?
It's been a year but Fantasmic CM's (basically Guest Control with a vengeance) sign in at the Pirate's in the little room under the bridge at the entrance to Pirates.
Fantasmic scheduling used to be done by Critter Country.
Be sure to get to the park a little early because the parades can block crossing over from backstage to the West Side. It's generally better to cross Main Street at the entrance and enter backstage next to the Firehouse and then go up to Adventureland behind Main Street on the west side. Avoids having to deal with the crowds and annoying CM's who won't allow you to cross even though you're in (the wrong) costume.

Re: What is Fantasmic! HH?
Fantasmic! HH is only the greatest shift you'll ever get. It's Fantasmic! Guest Control, in the Fantasmic! polo, Motorman pants, BLACK SOCKS and black shoes, and the narrow black belt. Get the jacket too, in this season.
You clock in underneath the Pirate's bridge.
Fantasmic! scheduling is controlled by the NOCC Scheduling Department, x4978.
We'll see you out there!

Re: What is Fantasmic! HH?
There's this white paper in scheduling that basically talks about the various Guest Control roles that Attractions Cast members are scheduled for.
Basically, you wave the light stick and herd the guests like cattle. However, the formal definition of the role, according to the paper mentioned above is:
Originally posted by Cast SchedulingAs a Guest Control Cast Member you will be directing our Guests at venues such as Fantasmic!, fireworks and parade viewing areas.- Your role includes
- Interacting with Guests to provided directions and information.
- Working [with] and supporting your fellow Cast Members.
- Maintaining Guest flow in walkways.
- Ensuring the Safety of our Guests and Cast.
- Utlizing the SERVICE Model and Four Keys when communicating with Guests in a clear and concise manner.
If you have any questions, you can ring Critter Country or Adventureland scheduling on extensions 4978 and 4782 respectively.

Re: What is Fantasmic! HH?
I hated it with a passion when I first started!! But now, I love it!!! I used to do it a lot with lots of old schoolers. I am what you call a "Fantasmic! Hybrid" Eventhough I was hired into Tomorrowland, I was always found on Fantasmic!! I missed the old island shifts, when you open the island, you close the island, as well!! The long 1715 to 2415 shifts!! Gotta love them!!

Re: What is Fantasmic! HH?
I worked foods in Tomorrowland back in 93. I actually worked the last couple days of the Space Place Restaurant. When they closed Space Place, they put us all on Fantasmic for the rest of the summer. It was great. Fantasmic had only been out for about 2 years and was still amazing. We had three shows a night and each one was packed. Worked it the remaining four months of summer. It was excellent. When hinges creek in doorless chambers, and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls, Whenever candlelights flicker, where the air is deathly still, That is the time when ghosts are present practicing their terror with ghoulish delight.
Welcome, foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion!

Overall, B - Section is the most hecktic section to work in all of Fantasmic!, in my opinion. I mostly see A or B, rarely C, D, and E(ntrances).
