  • Stump the Disney Geek

Okay so I have an idea for a new game. VH1 has a new heavy metal show and on it they have a part where you "Stump the Trunk" and try to stump the resident metal guru Eddie Trunk. If you "stump" him you win a prize.

I though we could try something like that here except when you "stump" the Disney geek your prize is you get to come up with a new question.

The only rule is that the questions must be Disneyland related!

    Here goes:

What is the fastest roller coaster in Disneyland (DCA not included)?

I believe that it's Big Thunder...it goes just a few miles/hour faster than Space mountain.

My guess is for Space Mtn. as the fastest "roller coaster," although both Splash Mtn. and the monorail go faster (I think).

Big Thunder indeed. I'd forgotten about that. EDIT: So that means Indiana Jeff is up, right?

Boy, we're gonna need to make these tough. There's a wide range of levels of knowledge on this board, but it's overall quite high.

          Here is a decent one:

          What is the monorail's nickname?

Good luck. I'll be gone for a couple of hours but back later to check your answers.

This is so amazing!!! I played this game with a Cast Member named Katy yesterday! I would get a single rider pass and she would ask me a trivia question. I rode Screamin' 12 times in a rpw yesterday...

I've heard guests call it the Tram to Tomorrowland, the People Mover and even BART! :lmao:

And lately some folks right here calling it a Nightmare!

                  Not saying that they're right...

                    Before you jump the gun:

Big Thunder Mountain is NOT the correct answer.

We are still on what is the fastest roller coaster in Disneyland (excluding DCA)?

                      Your guess is correct.

                      BTMR top speed 28 mph
Space Mountain top speed 30 mph

And the third fastest coaster in Disneyland is Gadgets Go Coaster at 22 mph!

                      Danny B you are up!

Numerous online sources list a top speed of between 33 and 35 mph for BTMRR...may I ask your source?

I'm pretty sure that the speeds were flipped around. Unless my memory is faulty, SM goes at 28 and BTMR goes at 30ish. Echoing Data...sources, s'il vous plait.
