Yesterday, I believe the Chicago temperatures might have reached the 80 degree mark. I know that I wasn't the only one that headed to the closet to find my shorts. Now today, it won't be that warm. It might be 60, if we are lucky. Not complaining, since Winter is finally over. That thought alone puts a smile on my face.

It's Easter morning, and it's only 44 degrees here in Chicago. The forecast says cloudy and windy. I imagine the Easter Bunny is having a hard time carrying all those Easter baskets to thier destinations this morning.

I love Mondays. Monday is the day that I get my peace and quiet back after having family members around on the weekends. I guess I am just a loner at heart. I get much more done when no one is looking over my shoulder.

The rain came down hard last night here in Chicago. Temperatures are supposed to maybe get to 80 degrees today. I wish that meant that I could go outside and get some yardwork done. Not likely, since it might rain again this morning. I need to make a mad dash to the bank, perhaps between the raindrops this morning.

Today is one of those days that I must endure, but I'd rather not. It's raining, and it probably will be doing that all day. As I sit here typing, I can hear the raindrops outside. Not tiny little raindrops, but big noisy ones. I hate these days, but I am grateful I have the luxury of staying home. Lots of time for a project that takes a lot of time on a gloomy rainy day.

It is warm here in Tucson,AZ. a beautiful day but I have been up for 3 and a half hours and I am tired. i feel like taking a nap. The kiddos will go down soon and maybe then but probably not as that is when I get things done.Comment

I've been up for hours, and have been busy looking at bad pictures I have taken of Disney World in the dark. Chicago has gotten colder again, and the temperature probably won't even reach 50 again today. That's typical for my city. It can get to be 80, and then a few days later we are cold again. So, in between doing the laundry, I dream about sunnier days, and happier nights spent at Disneyland and Disney World.

It still isn't going to be very warm here in Chicago today, but the sun should make an appearance today. I always feel better when the sun is shining. My husband doesn't understand what the sun has to do with my mood, since he is always pretty happy despite the state of the weather.

Today should be nice here in So Cal. But another storm is on its way for later this weekend. I'm hoping I can get outside and do a bit of work before the bad weather comes back. I usually wash the dishes first thing in the morning on Saturday. Then the water heats up in the hot water tank, and my husband can take a nice hot shower. For some reason the water pressure in the kitchen sink is miserable this morning. So maybe I'll try again in a little bit after I enjoy my nice hot cup of tea.

My mom and I had some tea, too, because we're feeling sick. Right now I'm really bored because my mom's at her lawyer's, and so are my little brothers and grandparents. I'm hoping we can go see a movie or something later.Comment

I am on my way out the door in search of bananas. Sometimes it's hard to find the perfect ones at my local produce store. My husband likes to take them to work for his mid morning snack. I wish he would eat other fruit besides bananas all the time. An apple, or perhaps a pear would be nice. Scratch the pears, I forgot that's my favorite and not his. I especially like the brown ones.
49 degrees isn't too bad a temperature for a walk outside, as long as the rain stays away.

It's looks like a beautiful weather week is expected here in the Chicagoland area. Temperatures right around 75 degrees all week, and sunshine. You can't get any better than that. Now I will go about enjoying my favorite day of the week which is Monday.
