"The Mickey Mouse Thread" - It All Started With A Mouse.

There are times, when ideas just pop into my head. Not sure if that is a good thing or not. However, my latest idea has to do with the main mouse, Mickey. Walt Disney said that it all started with Mickey.

I was thinking, while pouring my breakfast cereal into my bowl this morning that what MiceChat needs is a Mickey Mouse Thread.

The "Mickey Mouse Thread" shall be a place, where you can talk about Mickey. Talk about his cartoons. Post pictures of him. Discuss his cartoons. Reveal locations of hidden Mickeys. Perhaps you collect Mickeys. Tell us about it. Don't care for the Mouse? You can even tell us about that, if you like.

All things, Mickey. That is what this thread is about. We can have fun with the Mouse.

Here's that breakfast bowl that I was pouring my cereal into this morning that gave me the idea for this thread. When I recently went to Wisconsin, I painted this bowl, and decided to add the Mickey design in the inside and the outside of the bowl. Have you ever done anything like that. I think I had Mickey on the brain, because I was thinking about my up and coming Disneyland trip.

Since Going to WDW I havent been able to collect that many things but this caught my eye on my trip there. Some say its like having brass knuckles but I only use them for my keys (since I have to carry alot of them from my job) Some have unsuccessfully try to take it.



On last trip to WDW I went looking for another but I guess the store didn't carry them anymore.

Very unique design. There's something so simple about those 3 little circles that make up the symbol of the Mouse that all of us love.

Im in the works to painting my bedroom and incorporating his colors.
I also would like to get the lamps they have on the Disneyshopping site.
Hopefully they are still available so i can purchase them

I was walking through Downtown Disney with my friend Jennifer, and her younger daughter. Jen's daughter spotted these Mickey balloons and she was wide eyed. She wanted one, Jen could tell that her next question would be...... Did she buy her a balloon, you ask? No, but she took the photo, which will be, for a long time.

It was chilly this morning. I found myself reaching for a "throw" to sit with this morning, while I did my early morning MiceChatting. The "Mouse" came to the rescue.

I actually don't like mice. The real ones scare me to death. I always tell my grandson that the only mice I like are Mickey and Minnie, and Pikachu. (He's a Pokemon).

I was thinking about how I got into the Disney craze and that was because of my step kids and mother-in-law. When I was young I never
had anything Disney or Mickey. My bestfriend always would talk about
stuff with Mickey and never even cared. Since I got older and had this
new addition to my life I cant stop thinking about Mickey.

Thanks for sharing that. Is that one of the special Mickey Statues that has traveled all around the country? They had some of them in our Downtown Chicago Area for a while.
