  • The Movies And Music Thread

This is not a game, per se, but something I thought we could have a little fun with.

Most movies have songs in them at some point. Sometimes it might be a song written especially for that movie. Other times it could be a hit song from present or past that's included in the movie's soundtrack. Many of these songs make a really memorable connection with the film.

Include as much info as you can about song title, maybe artist, and movie title...most of all, of course, just have fun.

    First examples...

"Up Where We Belong", Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes, "An Officer And A Gentleman"

"Raindrops Keep Fallin On My Head", B.J. Thomas, "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"

"What A Wonderful World", Louie Armstrong, "Good Morning VietNam"

"Can You Feel The Love Tonight", Elton John, "Lion King"

Could be from any type movie, musicals, whatever.

    Again, have fun.

"Believe" sung by Josh Groban - from the film, "The Polar Express". This song was nomniated for a Golden Globe, Oscar and won a Grammy award.
Press today is so concerned with cool vs. not cool that they're starting to forget good vs. bad. I'm not sure I'll ever be "cool", but I will always tirelessly strive to be "great". - Josh Groban
