  • Disneyland Princesses' Makeup???

This is probably going to sound like the strangest, creepiest question ever, but does anyone know what foundation/makeup the Princesses at DLR use??? They are always so absolutely flawless, and I'm just curious as to what brand/type (liquid, powder, tinted moisturizer, etc) they use. Obviously, not everything works for everyone, but I would like to know nevertheless.

It's probably stage makeup that professionals use.

Not that strange and creepy actually, there have been much worse things asked here before (especially recently)

You might want top ost this in the break room as well
        Good morning, son
        In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
        It was pain
        Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Either they use stage make-up or airbrush, both have lasting ability.

I would imagine that Disney casts girls that have flawless complexions to begin with. The makeup artists I used to work with used Joe Blasco- but that was a long time ago! Do they apply their own makeup, or is it done for them?

I would assume so as well.

That was another thing I wondered, if they do it themselves or not.

My friend is friend's with the Mad Hatter and from what I've heard the characters do their own make up. It is done for them the first three or four times and then they are on their own with a picture/instruction sheet of some sort after that.

I've read on a sort of tell-all article (mostly about WDW) that they do their own makeup, but are given specific instructions and certain colors of makeup that are (supposedly) based on the palette of the character's movie. The same article said that the smart princesses brought their own make up as well and mixed and matched to make sure that it worked for them, because stage makeup can look very harsh up close and personal and not all of the colors looked great on everyone.
