  • Favorite Chicken Marinades

    Hey girls!

I made a marinade for my chicken tonight, but I am far from Rachel Ray. I just mix stuff together. I have no idea what I'm doing.

    Ingredients:
    KC Masterpiece Original BBQ sauce
    honey
    lemon juice
    garlic powder
    ginger
    cinnamon
    salt
    pepper
and a little water to thin it out

It's tangy, spicy, and sweet all at the same time.

What kinds of marinades do you like?
Well, I think you're crazy, I think you're crazy, I think you're crazy, just like me.

It all depends on what I'm cooking. I enjoy anything from sweet and spicy to salty and hot.

I just did Everyday Italian's Basalmic Chicken recipe that had mustard, olive oil, garlic, lemon, and basalmice vinegar.
This is my favorite recipe I've ever made- I did that with breasts and legs.

Oooh both of those sound so good. I love Balsamic Vinegar.

I do need to start using my oven for cooking more. I've just been cooking my chicken in a frying pan. Now that the weather is cooling off the oven would work nicely.

My absolute favorite is Soy Vay teriyaki. The wasabyaki is good too.

Thank you for posting this! I've been looking for new teriyaki sauces. I'll give this one a try.

Here's one I learned from my sister:
mix equal parts Italian dressing and spicy brown mustard.

I just used a bottle of balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing the other day. It was yummy! And quick and easy for a week day.
