I don't wear shoes. Unless I have to. I don't even LIKE shoes. I am not shoe-obsessed.

I don't care about this thing they call 'fashion'. What's in one season will be out a season or so later. I just don't get it. Especially right now. You can have legs up to your eyeballs and those silly flat-soled eskimo boots everybody seems to be wearing will make you look as if you have treestumps for legs.

I absolutely cannot stand, totally DETEST makeup. All kinds. It doesn't matter if it's El Cheapo Maximo from the drugstore or something expensive like Lancome (or..teehee..Sephora..*ducks and runs* ). I cannot stand it and refuse to wear it.

I don't use expensive face wash on my face. I use soap and water. With a once weekly deepcleaning done with rubbing alcohol. I'm evil. I know. :devil:

TOV, no worries...I consider myself a "sometimes girly girl" but I don't care about makeup either (I wear some but not much and very natural at that) I cant stand going in (don't hate me for saying this) Sephora...sensory overload.... I get confused and I wouldn't know what to do with half of it anyway...

however I do have a weakness for shoes (though I prefer to be barefoot whenever possable) I just cant resist a cute pair of shoes.
My other Major weakness is accessories, purses, scarves, (minimal Jewelry though)

see it's a womans perogitive(sp?), we can be as "girly" as we want however we want
or not so "girly" but we are all feminine in our own wonderfully individual way

Oh my goodness girl!! We could be twins!! I have like two pair of shoes that I wear only when I have to. (Work) I even take them off when I drive. I have no understanding of the whole "Sephoria" mistique. I don't own any and never will. (Yes, kick me out of the club too.) Now if you also are not anywhere near Susie Homemaker and would rather be doing something constructive like watching clouds or hanging out with friends/family rather than doing housework... then by golly we are twins seperated at birth!!!! :lol: :devil:

I am just bummed that I will have to put shoes on to take The Boy to school this morning. Normally when I'm not working I just wear my slippies, but since it is beyond raining right now, and is semi-flooded I have to wear shoes. Squishy slippies are not fun.

I've never been a 'girly' girl. I used to make fun of the girls in Jr.High and High school who'd spend all their free time talking about shopping, GOING shopping or doing their hair/makeup. It was and still is the most bizarre thing to me. I just DON"T get it.

I'm beginning to cut down on the makeup, just a bit of blush and eyeliner to liven up my eyes, haha and i'm good to go. Wearing any kind of foundation makes me grouchy, so I refuse to wear it again. I love fashion, but i'm too poor to afford any "haute couture". I'm not too crazy on shoes, because the weather is so crappy here in Michigan that new shoes will be destroyed by the salt and snow. So I just stick with my shoes that look eerily similar to those worn by the CMs for POTC! You know the chunky mary jane type? :botox:

try oil of olay, rehydrating, it's great, very light and after just a couple minutes I don't notice anything.

I wear shoes, but they're 3 year old Converse which will soon require duct tape. So don't feel bad.
