  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

Has anyone tried this? I read great reviews on it at Sephora.com but I wanted my fellow MCer's reviews as well.

I have.. I didnt like it.. I love eyeshadow. A girl at Sephora (1 of the makeup artists) actually told me to use a lil concealer. Just tap it on my eyelid.. she said it costs less and works better.. It does.

Love Potion Primer. It made a huge difference, especially when using the powdered Bare Minerals shadow. It gives the shadow a little something more to cling to besides more foundation/concealer powder. A creamy concealer would probably do the same thing for you. The primer is neutral colored, and you don't have to worry about blending or matching shades, so that is a another plus.

I love UD's primer potion, and yesterday I picked up the newer one in Sin. It can be worn alone or under shadow. Worn alone it;s a very nice, flattering champagne color. I highly recommend this product if you have shadow creasing or fading issues.

Thanks everyone =) I don't know if you can buy it in stores or not, but I'll have to check out the different bases and see what is nice.

I got a deluxe sample of the Urban Decay kind but I haven't tried it yet. I apply my shadows wet anyway, which makes them last all day.

Love it! Like the others said it's great with BE shadows. I also recently got Sin, the new one, and it's great awesome!

That's a good idea. I never think about applying my eyeshadows wet, I'll try that tonight when my roomie & I go out to dinner.

Oh I really want to try the Sin primer potion! It sounds really pretty.

As for the original, I have bought it twice but stopped. I have also used the BE before. For me it was not any more effective than using cream concealer as a base.

My eyelids tend to get really oily so I have to use a base or my eyeshadow creases really bad. Benefits F.Y.Eye is the best! Just a little dab for each eyelid, blend it in and then apply the shadow right after. Voila, shadow stays on even when I sleep!

I've tried it, works well, but I never even use it anymore. It was a waste of money for me, but if you plan on using it regularly then I recommend it.

UD primer is great and goes under any color, really helps to make the shadow pop... and stay on!

I use Mac's paint pots and shade sticks under the corresponding colors... really helps to make the shadow brighter and last longer. I find that both work on any kind of skin.
