To Wear Socks... Or Not To wear Socks thats the Question.

OK this is a Battle my husband and I used to have. He thought it was ok to wear socks with his Sandles. I would tell him only for forrest dwellers. Then we would look around the park to see how many other people were wearing socks with their sandles. Wouldn't you know it he could always find a few.... I have finally won this battle and he wears no socks in his Sandles. What do you think?

I don't see why anyone could feel the need to wear socks and sandals, quite frankly. If it's hot enough for sandals, wear sandals and no socks. If it's too cold for sandals, wear shoes! Besides, could the combination of socks and sandals be so good that it's worth all the nasty looks and comments from people like us? So yes, I agree with you. I also feel that this issue may decide the next presidential election.

Yeah, i was in high school during the grunge days also. Still don't remember socks with sandals ever being cool. Docs or some other form of combat boot with shorts is a whole other story though.

Some very funny and amusing comments! I agree, NO SOCKS!!...unless you are a Geisha. Have you ever really looked at some of the naked feet you see in sandals when you're out. Men, especially are showing off nasty nails and fungus or callouses as thick as pizza crusts.

A friend of mine once really annoyed a group of us by going to a concert in a floor length black evening dress wearing white socks and sandals. Her justification was, "No one will see my feet and it's more comfortable."
