I would suggest getting a shade of powder that best matches your skin tone. For lipstick, I would suggest a shade like Russian Red from MAC. If you want to go with something cheaper, just get a bright, cherry red color.
Ruby Woo lipstick by MAC ($14) is a vivid red with blue reflex - the blue isn't noticeable.
Under the powder, apply a cream blush (if you put it over the powder, it'll look strange) Lilicent by MAC ($18.50) is similar to the shade of Snow White's cheeks.
Snow White has long eyelashes so try a lengthening mascara or false eye lashes.

If you don't wear much makeup then you might want to spend as little as possible. Some great drugstore brands are available. I suggest Revlon Matte Lipstick. It's non-drying and reasonably long lasting. As far as powder goes, I would disagree with some of the previous users (with all due respect) and say that if you are going for Snow White, you might want to get a shade of powder that is just about 1-2 shades lighter than your natural shade. One of the powdered mineral foundations (Maybelline, L'oreal, Revlon, Covergirl all have them) should work well. Any blush will do as long as you like it, so go inexpensive (you could even use a light sweep of your lipstick applied with your fingers). And then I would highly suggest using a bit of mascara. Everyone's mascara needs are different, but for some oomph without a lot of hassle I prefer either (or both) L'oreal Voluminous or Covergirl VolumeExact. A good mascara is worth your while, however, so if you wanted a splurge there is a new one out there that would be great for a newcomer to makeup, it's from Bare Escentuals and it's called Flawless Definition. It's incredibly easy to use and all natural. You can get it at your local Sephora store (there is one located at Downtown Disney). Also, for convenience, Sephora also offers some inexpensive kits with a bunch of makeup to make specific looks for halloween. That might be your cheapest option. Sorry to ramble. Hope this helps.

Exactly! Russian Red is the bee's knees. It's my absolute favorite, plus it has a sweet smell to it. Yum.
I would suggest going to a makeup counter that has a salesperson that could point you to the right red. I know I have naturally very pink lips...and almost any red I wear turns hot pink instead. Having an expert in makeup would help you find the exact right color for you. With face makeup too! Make a few calls to places like Dillard's, Macy's, Sephora...I know quite a few will do the "makeover" free...you just need an appt.
Since you mentioned that you were male...you might want to go to a reputable makeup/costuming store. There is a difference in putting street makeup over male skin (and no matter how closely you shave-stubble). They could help you get a better makeup for you, and show you how to apply it. Good luck and can hardly wait for those pics!

My BF was Snow White a few years ago, and we did a liquid foundation in his skin color (which is PALE, anyway) a little purple for his eyelids and a red for his lips. I'm not really sure why you'd go to any extreme measures(aka buying MAC makeup) to be made up for one night?
This just popped up on youtube - maybe this will help [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eH82bqTB3i0"]YouTube - Snow White[/ame][ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eH82bqTB3i0&feature=sub"][/ame]

Does Disney have a rule about drag? You might want to call and ask before you put in a bunch of time and money only to be turned away...
I've known a number of people who have gone in drag (both male and female) and they have never had a problem and have been told by CM's how great they look. I've gone three times as the McGregor version of Obi-Wan and have been complemented by CM's as well. So, not a problem, especially if done right. They only thing I would avoid is the bathrooms. THAT can be "tricky."
