Girl Scout Cookies

Probably very true, yet GS cookie sales funds my girl scout's troop and their exsistance.

Ok, I don't know WHY, but in San Jose I think what we call *Caramel Delights* are what you are calling *Samoas*. Does anyone else buy them under that name? I think our peanut butter ones are named differently as well.

Yes, the cookies vary by each council. I am in the St. Croix Valley Council of St. Paul and the Minneapolis one has different cookies (different peanut butter and no Do Si Dos last time I checked). I have been a Girl Scout my whole life (I just got my Gold award in may) and I still am one. They are very tempting. To the person who bought 5 boxes from a sale-- thank you! It's often hard to do those sales due to limited supplies or people who simply just try to stay away in fear of eating too many. (Also, as a young girl you don't have the patience to sit around waiting for people to come to you.)

The cookies I can recall are:
Thin Mints
Tagalongs (peanut butter ones, slightly different than the patties- my fave.)
Do-Si-Dos
All Abouts
Chocolate
Samoas
Trefoils (shortbread)

Unfortunately this was my first in 12 years of not selling cookies. It was quite sad. So I don't have much of the hook up I used to, but I know who to call to order some and find out about sales in front of stores. Thanks for all of your support for Girl Scouts.

Ha ha!! Last year the Safeway customers were really mean to the girls! So this year we were in front of the Babies R Us on Blossom Hill and Santa Theresa for the last 2 weekends. Were were you????? Our troop is done selling, but I am sure other troops will be camped out there this weekend. If you really want some, I can hook you up! I know some little girls...
