  • Do you like letter writing/stationary?

As we are packing for our move to our new place I have come across a few pages of stationary that I bought in Italy a few years ago.

It is only three pages and each is different because the page as well as the interior of the envelopes is hand painted. They are beautiful!

I know I will never use them but I dont want to throw them away...

Would any of you like them? I can mail them to you if you want...

I figure I'd rather make a friend happy than just let them go to waste!

I love stationary! I'd take them off your hands if you like.

If you have any extra, I 'd love some too. I had two Italain exchange students live with me and my family last summer for three weeks and it would be fun to send them a letter on Italian stationary.

            You are so sweet Paul!!

I love stationary- even though I never use it! I am the worst at mailing stuff. ( I still have dramaqueen's Christmas card sitting on my counter ) But this thread reminds me of a funny story. My mom and I both got eachother a tin full of stationary for Christmas. Not only did we buy eachother an extremely similar gift- but they were BOTH Fairy stationary!! Great minds think alike I guess!!

Those sound beautiful- I hope someone gets great use out of them!

I love it but never use it anymore. My favorite is some that our french exchange student brought me way back when. It had clowns (artistic, not scary) on it, and was so so beautiful. I could neve bring myself to use it!
              Good morning, son
              In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
              It was pain
              Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Re: Do you like letter writing/stationary?

I do find myself writing letters as I get older but since I hate my handwriting I usually do them on the computer. But I adore stationary! I use sheets in scrapbooking and under photos in place of mats. And I frame cards and hang them as clusters of art. My all time favorites I've framed are the Shag Enchanted Tiki Room and 50th Anniversary Disneyland prints. :ap:

I got the stationary and it is beautiful! Thanks you so much!!

I will have to send I Heart Disneyland and Bejeweled Cat letters on it so they can enjoy it too!!

The Leonardo Davinci postcards were also beautiful!

If any of you have seen the movie Ever After , then you are familiar with what one of his paintings looks like that's featured in that movie.

So kind of you....thanks again Never Grow Up!!!
