  • The worst

What annoying little things happen to you that make you say "That's the worst!"

    For me:

When you have just shaved you legs and you go to put lotion on them and you find one little hairy strip that you missed.

When you go to Wal-Mart to pick up something specific and they never have it- there is always an empty spot where it should be. They have all kind sof other useless crap, but never what I want!

So what is "the worst" for you?

      Shaving, period.

Watching the bums get on the metro train and start panhandling.

When I forget to take the trash out.

When you forget to make sure there is TP in the restroom BEFORE hand.

When my husband takes my car and brings it back with no gas (what a guy, huh?)

When you are stuck at a table eating with someone who seems to have their mouth stuck in the "wide open" position.

In a city, going to Wal-Mart is worse than going to the dentist.

Now, going to Wal-Mart while I was in Pocatello, ID was not bad at all.

I am the first person to say the Wal-Mart is the devil, but I can't afford Target yet- trust me, as soon as I am no longer dirt poor, I will shop there!

Ah, man Target is literally across the street. I go almost everyday on my break...sooo bad....
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
                Marge: Pink.
                Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

The worst is when you go to cook a nice meal... get everything ready... and realize you're short ONE ingredient...

                    *sigh*

I am a medical billing specialist (work from home) and I also work for Buena Vista Pictures on the weekend and am a full-time nursing student. My husband is a currently unemployed graphic designer looking to switch fields. He is also in school trying to update his degree with web design and programming.
This is why I can't afford Target

How is nursing school? I have been ~sorely~ tempted, at times, to give up engineering and try to become a nurse.

I haven't been accepted yet- I am waiting for the letter any day now- I am currently finishing up my pre-req's. I have been told it is challenging, but in two years I will have my RM and hopefully eon't ever have to worry about employment (I have thought about moving to socal after my student loans are forgiven and working first aid at the parks

I know so many people waiting to get into Nursing school. There will be like 30 nurses someday for every doctor. Wow what a thought!

DQ Target is great and it will still be there when you are rolling in the dough!

                              Oh! THat should be fun.

Do you mean your RN? If not, what exactly is a RM?

No. As a nurse you should not. Have you ever thought of becoming a traveling nurse? I have heard of couples who travel around the US, staying a year at a hospital, and then moving on to another hospital. Of course, you would need your husband to become one as well.

They have a program to forgive student loans? I wish I could find a way to do that with mine...the number scares me.

Let us know when you find out!

yes, of course I meant RN I am not the best typer when I type fast.

There are federal programs which forgive up to 85% or your students if you work in a hospital for three years, plus some state programs that pay cash for doing the same thing, so I have to work in a hospital for three years after I graduate, but I hope to work on my master's at the same time. I am keeping my options open for now.
