Going back to LA (But it's Vegas!!)

Hey!!

In feb I am travelling back to LA with my mum, sis, friend any my family to celebrate a number of significant birthdays!!!

Trouble is, and although I've always wanted to go to Vegas, it's Vegas!!!

I have an Annual pass that I could use (we are only in LA four days!!)

What can I do?
How long is the coach trip Vegas/LA?
How much?
As above for flights?
I really think I should use my pass but with only 4 days, is it worth the travel?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Could I swing a day in Anaheim? or is the travel too much??

It's about a 6 hour drive from Vegas to LA or an hour on a plane.

the plane is about 30 minutes, but the hassle to get through the airpoet is not worth it...IMO. Before 9/11 we used to fly there every 3 months, but with the airports being how they are now it's quicker for us to drive, When we drive it's about 4 1/2 to 5 hours, but they are tearing up the main freeway now. They had all these updates on the news a while ago and the anchor ended with, "so don't bother driving it...." I have no idea how bad it really is though.

yes it is an hour flight or so away.. and about a 4 hour drive (we have done it from anaheim when we moved here a month ago) took 4 hours

If traffic's not bad, I can make it from my door (in Henderson, just outside Las Vegas) to the Mickey & Friends parking structure in 3 1/2 hours.

Driving or flying, absolutely you need to make a trip to Vegas. :thumbup:

But how long will you have? If you're only in L.A. for 4 days... it's have to be a quick trip in and out. Would you do it an day or what? If you only have a day, fly ot really early and back really late - don't waste hours driving.

I'm not sure what you mean about swining a day in Anaheim... From LA to Anaheim isn't that far, like 45 to a hour, depending. You could do that.
