A Taste of the Holidays - Coming to a mall near you

While reading the Sephora thread, I caught a glimpse of a Philosophy thrre in one that I would love to get: Spiced Apple Cider. They have a quite a few other fun flavors for the fall and holiday seasons.

I know that Bath & Body Works has started selling a new line of products with a more earthy, fall feeling to them.

Do you decorate your scents as well as your house when it comes time for the fall and holiday seasons?

Yep, I tend to go more with the pumpkin spice and applie pie scents from about now till beginning of Jan

I wish I could but hubby is one of those people who can't be around perfume/scents, he ends up not being able to breath very well. Right now he's heading to Canada, so the Wolfette and I have a couple days of making the house smell yummy!

I love the Hot Cocoa, Cinnamon Buns and Pumpkin Pie for the holidays. My boys love the Philosophy 3 in 1's also(although I'm not supposed to tell )I have yet to check out the Candy Cane, I love the packaging though.

Oh and Spiced Apple Cider smells yummy, I checked on that one

I've got a pumpkin plug-in scent for my room, my mom has a pumpkin candle burning in the family room.
For christmas, it's usually a pepermint candle.

I love Philosophy! All their fall/winter scents! It just wouldn't be the holidays without them! Which reminds me, I need to find my Gingerbread Man scrub!

Oh and I picked up a Cinnamon scented decorative broom(which I tied into Halloween decorations) my house smells sooooooooo good :clap:

When I got the mail yesterday, there was a catalog from Bath & Body Works. Seems they are really trying to gain back some of the customers they lost to Philosophy. They have 3-in-1's that have similar flavors to the ones offered by Philosophy. Same size, $4 cheaper.

Fall Flavors, which are a part of the Temptations line. Some of the flavors are soooo close to the Philosophy flavors.

Ali is going to love that they have American Girl Roll On Glitter.

If you sign up for Bath and Body Works' e-mail newsletter you get a coupon for a free something. In the latest one there was a coupon for a free holiday scent product w/a $10 purchase. Saweet!

I bought the B&BW pumpkin hand soap and lotion combo. It smells so good. I also bought their Spiced Apple lip gloss which is delicious.

i got the Spiced Apple Rapture lotion at Bath and Body Works. It smells yummy!!! They had Pumpkin Pie, Cinnamon Roll, and Pecan Prailine, but they weren't as good.

With my allergies getting a little worse each year, I can't do Ulta, Victoria's Secret or B&BW smelly products anymore. The last time I went to B&BW, I left in tears.....it was awful. I used to LIVE there, all my gifts were from there, I bought all my soaps, everything there. Ugh. Now I can barely be in there for more than a few minutes before I get all stuffed up and my eyes are killing me. My girlie side is so sad!!

I can still do philosophy though! I didn't like the apple cider one, but I do love all the other 3in1's.

I got my apple cider one yesterday and I love it. I also have the pumpkin, apple and one other from B&BW and I like them too! I do find that the philosophy bubble up and lather better and tend to retain their fragrance better than B&BW.

This is really good to know. I am a total Philosophy addict at this point. Skin care and body wash. Thank you for doing the research ahead of time for me MGirl. Still going to go smell the 3-in-1s the next time I am at the mall.
