No more carrots for you!

The Bug's favorite foods are carrots and sweet potatoes. So..being the idiot I am, I have given him these foods about 3-4 times a week recently. Probably for the last month or so.
Anyway..he's been eating SO much carrots and sweet potatoes that I've managed to turn him slightly orange. So my MIL suggested I don't feed him those foods for awhile.

But..what's a gal to do? Carrots and sweet potatoes are in SO many of the babyfoods on the shelf it's kinda hard to get away from them. Unless..you start feeding him the options labeled 'something something dessert".

Oh well..DH went to the store yesterday to buy more babyfood and there isn't a single thing with carrots or sweet potatoes in it.

I'm sure there's worse things I could do to the Bug than give him food that turns him orange.Oh well..live and learn,right?

If he eats it and enjoys it, so he has a bit of a tint!

Thats too funny, my daughter was telling me yesterday that too many carrots and sweet potatoes could turn my grandson orange ish I thought she was nuts !!!

how 'bout trying greens (beans, peas, brocolie, etc)
or yellows (squash...)

course you do have to be some what careful or you will end up with a paisly print baby......
