  • Helping out Fellow Mice-Chatters?? Food for Thought??

Last year when I visited the Magic Kingdom in Florida a fellow Mice-Chatter person hooked me up with discounted tickets to the parks! I thought it was one of the nicest things someone has every done.(only met on this web page) The discount was something like our So.Cal discount here in California. I was thinking it would be nice to do the same for Mice-Chatters who visit California. I know a lot of you might frown on this, but aren't we one big extended family? What do you think?

        Crazy Legs,
Im not asking for tickets at all. Just wanted to see if people would be willing to help out other's when visiting the parks. After my experience in receiving discounted tickets from a fellow Micechat person in Florida, whom I met in person (at the ticket booth) it reasssured me of the kindness of people in general. I would offer the same kindness to someone/family visiting from out of state to Disneyland to save a few bucks. That's all. But I can see people taking this the wrong way in saying, "Discounts should only be for So.Cal Residents or something like that. Have a good one...

I think its a good idea. I always have my friends or family who live in So Cal buy me my tickets. I like the discount.

I think I know what your trying to say.

I have friends that come down to Florida and I offer my help when ever possible. However, I have met and spoken to these people on more than a few occasions and consider them close long distance friends.

If your asking does it happen, I would say yes, as lots of people love helping others. However, if your asking will people help you, it's probably no as some people don't really know you.

I don't think the OP was wanting help. Simply making a site-wide statement that anyone should help anyone else. Like a MiceChatter's got your back, yo.

              Word.
"But every night, when it gets dark
              and the stars come out,
I'll look up on her behalf.
I'll look up in the sky and think of you."

I met someone online from another web site, who was a CM. It turns out she was a VIP Tour Guide, and signed in my sister, and then gave us 10 'super fast passes' which gave us instant fastpasses for five people per fastpass. It was so cool, and so kind. I really didn't expect that kind of generosity.

It really was very kind of her. I wasn't expecting anything like that, but she really made it a great day.
