I a not a Laker fan, but I think they'll have just too much for a veteran team like the Celtics. A Tough series, Lakers in 6, or maybe 7.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Even though Bynum's knee is as durable as jello and Ron Ron is erratic on the offense end, the Lakers will take this series, I believe in 7 games. This will definitely come back to LA for the final game.

The power of the gold and purple Sleeping Beauty Castle will fuel the Lakers to a 7 game series win!

Remember, this series is 2-3-2 and the Lakers have the home-court. I can't see the Lakers losing all 3 games in Boston. The only game I see the Lakers possibly losing at home would be game 1 when everybody is at their most rested. As the series goes on, Boston's age is going to show more.

This coming from a guy who grew up in Inglewood.

And Ben Afleck doesn't like showing his mug at Red Sox games either. Puhleese.

At least LA fans would let your bus return to your hotel after beating you. We just set fire to our own stuff.

(If you don't recall what I'm referring to, the Boston fans stopped and tried to tip over the Lakers bus after they won the 2008 Championship)

Bill Simmons seems to respect the Laker fans a lot more. Playoff crowds are a lot different from the regular season, and not in the way that the rest of the country thinks. Playoff crowds here really know basketball. (Probably because they know the regular season is not worth watching.)

I'm just excited. Lakers-Celtics part 12! Unlike movies, sports rivalries get better with each new addition.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

The most incredible thing I witnessed in tonight's game? Kevin Garnett missing two consecutive point blank lay up attempts. I'm not sure the second one even hit the rim.
