    Re: The Wrigley Field Thread

The rooftops across from Wrigley on both Waveland, and Sheffield, were starting to fill up

Wrigley Field has this hole in the right field wall, where the fans can come and watch the game from the sidewalk outside.

Some people even bring their own chairs.

The fire station across the street on Waveland, supports the Cubs.

Barbaraann, as usual you have shown a great deal of class.

As for our hoped for Cubs-Angels World Series, well, wait til next year.

The pictures are wonderful, and I'm so glad you had another fun day in Wrigleyville.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I tried to get a good picture of the flags flying on the foul poles. They are in honor of Cubs great ballplayers, Ernie Banks, Billy Williams, Ryne Sanberg, and Ron Santo.

Some great "Cubs Names" are honored in the bricks paving the sidewalks on the Addison Street side of Wrigley Field. I hadn't noticed that the other day when I was there, or I would have probably taken pictures of them all. It would have made a great collage.

Lots of people were at Murphy's Bleachers to watch the third game of the division series.

Can we go turn the clock back to right before the game, and play this one over again.

                        I guess not.

Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs for giving their fans a great year.

You can't win them all. It takes a lot to get to the World Series, Your not the only team going home today.
