  • Grady Little resigns from the Dodgers, will Joe Torre become a Dodger?

Just heard the news about Grady Little stepping down today.

A mutual decision, and Grady claimed it was for personal reasons, but it sure leaves a very big door open.

Not too many teams can afford Joe Torre......

I really wouldn't call it a stepping down. LA management is pretty upset about how LA went from second in the division to 4th place and lost their shot in the postseason. I think it was a mutual decision when they told Grady they were going to replace him.

Now thier talking about Torre and Mattingly to come in and coach, which i love and hate at the same time. I love it cause it will put "Donnie Baseball" in a great posistion a few years down the road when Torre retires. I hate it because i don't think Torre can coach NL teams very well and i think it is a bit of "stunt casting" on LA's part to pick up more Season Tickets. But then again i think they should bring back Lasorda.

I'd love to have Torre there and then Mattingly becomes the manager in 3 years. Also makes it easier for the Dodgers to get A-Rod.

Also, it's a big (you know what) You to the Yankees, which I love.

Dodgers have a great, young team. They just obviously need some leadership. And you can't ask for better than Torre right now.

Of course, personally, I'd love to have Scioscia behind the Dodgers bench, but the Angels aren't going to let him go.

Please no. God no! No A-rod. He's just going to bring down the team.

There is a good chance he'll go though because of Torre and Hollywood. I will hate to see him in a Dodgers jersey. It will be Kobe all over again!

That would be awesome, but you are right, the angels will not let him go and they would be stupid if they did!

I don't think A-Rod is Kobe at all.
