  • Shocked by names in the Mitchell Report?

The Mitchell Report is being unveiled currently some of the so called suprising names Roger Clemens, Andy Pettite, Albert Pujols, Jason Varitek, Mark Prior. The obvious Rafael Palmerio, Paul Byrd, Mark McGwire, Juan Gonzalez. The are you kidding me he could not hit any ways: Jose Offerman, Neifi Perez. Is anyone really shocked by these names is the big question. Tell me the person who you are most shocked at?

Are these about the Major League baseball players using steoroids? I got something on my TV about that ..

I checked the list, and Varitek is not on it...but some other interesting ones (Eric Gagne?) are. Including some people whom you wonder if it helped at all, and some who played some rather injury plagued seasons.

I mostly surprised that this silly witchhunt is still going on.

The name that isn't on there, that surprises me, is Kevin Mitchell. Even though he stopped playing before this became a big issue, I always thought he was juiced.

There are definately some names that surprise me:

Troy Glaus, Kevin Brown, Gary Matthews Jr

                  Some not so much:

                  Bonds, Palmeiro, Sheffield, etc.

Two names that I'm glad aren't on the list, because I really do believe they are good guys are Ken Griffey Jr. and Sammy Sosa.

Show em' how it's done guys!!!

Donnelly and Offerman surprised me. So did Mo Vaugn. That guy was built like the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. 'Roids are supposed to do you better than that.

Remember...just because players aren't on the list doesn't necessarily mean that they didn't "juice up" as well.

I mean, Sosa hit 60-plus home runs for what, three seasons in a row?

The press conferences all day...the self-righteous analysts on TV and sports talk radio...the whole thing seems a farce, until one at least gets a chance to look over a report that seems to be largely based on "hearsay".

From a New York Mets clubhouse guy trying for a better deal with the feds, among other sources.

Having said that...the 2002 Championship team...Say it ain't so, Troy and Brendan...say it ain't so...
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Sammy only corked his bats, though I would tend to agree with Barry. Sammy more than likely juiced up as well, he came from practically no where and now is back there.

I'm just happy that we have not seen any prominent Seattle Mariners on the list. At least not yet. There have been some M's, but no one important.

same with the Twins, Knoblauch, Rondell White, Denny Neagle are pretty much it, few people even associate the last two with the Twins overall and good ol' Chuck is looked back on as a Yankee now, even though he did a lot for the Twins.

Though, again, I'm sure this is the entire list of all baseball players that have ever juiced up.
