  • NEED HELP- Putting a parade Video on the web

    Hello everyone,

I recently just made a multi-angled Parade of Dreams video that I would like to put on the web so that people can download it and see it.

I am wondering if anyone out there knows how to put up a video on the net to be downloaded.
how would I go about it, in the best possible way?

    thanks,
    Tcsnwhite

you could use a free file storage place .. but they usually keep the filews for 2 weeks or so .. then they are deleted

maybe you could offer it to disney sites with video hosting (http://www.wdwmagic.com,www.disneywo...ffreynease.com)

or give it to us .. (the Disney-Central crew) we are takin care of the single largest disney park media collection on the web .. but it's only accessable via bittorrent and irc for more info visit www.wdwresorttv.com/tracker

I would see if your video editing software can export the movie as either a quicktime or flash video.

huh ? ...quicktime .. ok .. but flash ? .. you only use flash if you don't want people to copy your video

That is not the only reason. Flash video creates very small files which makes for fast downloads and saves on bandwidth.

xvid is a free mpeg 4 codec (unlike the pro divx versions are payware)

you can get the latest codecs (de-/encoder) on www.koepi.org

Depends what video stuff you're using, they might not all have it for encoding yet.
