  • DOOM movie and game

Any players? Here's the coming soon info on the movie:
Universal Pictures has provided ComingSoon.net with the new poster for videogame adaptation Doom, directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak and hitting theaters on October 21.

The game that electrified a generation leaps from the computer screen to the big screen as a terrifying science-fiction action adventure that will transport moviegoers to a dark and disturbing future with all the visceral excitement and horror that made its gaming predecessor a global phenomenon.

The movie stars Karl Urban as Reaper, Dwayne" The Rock" Johnson as Sarge and Rosamund Pike as Dr. Grimm. The film also stars Deobia Oparei, Ben Daniels, Raz Adoti, Richard Brake, Al Weaver and Yao Chin as members of the Rapid Response Tactical Squad and Dexter Fletcher as a wheelchair-bound communications officer.

The movie is going to suck...

Just about all game movies do, and in the previews, they make it look like you're actually playing the game in first person...

    Lame.
